Spirit Aeronautics a trade name of Spirit Avionics, Ltd, based in Columbus, Ohio is proud to announce the award by NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) for the modernization of their DeHaviland model DHC-6 research aircraft.

About the DHC-6 Research Aircraft Modernization Project
Spirit Aeronautics was awarded the project because of best value for the government based on competitive pricing and technical abilities. The project removes the aging aircraft instrument and avionics systems and replaces with a new digital display and communications suite. In addition, the aircraft will become ADS-B compliant and will have a digital audio system integrated in to the arrangement.
